The PBWA is a service group which provides assistance to the Sangha of this temple and also to other organizations.  We earn funds to provide financial support for the Pasadena Buddhist Temple, Dharma School  and  youth groups, as well as the Buddhist Churches of America and other organizations. Some of our own fundraisers include our Cookbooks, our Father's Day Chirashi Sushi Sale, restaurant fund-raisers (eating out at Marie Callendar's, Souplantation and California Pizza Kitchen) and Culinary Classes.  We provide volunteers to help with Temple fundraisers such as Obon, Sukiyaki Dinner, Fall Dinner, Mochitsuki and Chicken Teriyaki Take-out.  Twice-yearly we clean the temple altar adornments. In addition, we try to program activities for the enjoyment, education and social fulfillment of our members.  We also participate in the Southern District Buddhist Women's League and Federation of Buddhist Womens' Associations.   We meet monthly at the Temple (check Temple calendar for exact dates).

Anyone can join as a member, Membership fee is $10 per year.

The BWA is managed by an Executive Council which is made of the Past Presidents, Toban Leaders, Secretary and Treasurer.
