Events & Special Services
The Pasadena Sangha (members) actively help the temple through events that encourage us to work together harmoniously, learn, and enjoy each other's company. Many of these events are also fund-raisers to support our operations and facilities. Here is a calendar of 2012 events. Many of these events are annual and generally occur at the same time each year.
In additional to Sunday Family Services (separate English & Japanese Dharma talks) and English Discussion Groups, we celebrate special Buddhist services throughout the year. From time to time, we have guest ministers deliver the Dharma talks at these services and provide light refreshment (otoki) after the services. Families also schedule other special services such as weddings, funerals and memorial services.
