Hondo Refurbishing & Termite Tenting
in December, 2021, it was discovered that our Hondo and temple office had an asbestos problem, so the PBT Board set out to mitigate this problem....but we also found out that the temple and all the other buildings, Sakai Hall, Classrooms, the Residence.... had termites and we had to fix this also. We had just started to "open" up after the pandemic and now we have had to conduct services form the Garden Classroom on Sundays. The cost of all these repairs will and restoration will be around $100,000, so we will be reaching out to our Sangha friends to help with the cost of these repairs. Your donations are always welcome, but even more so now when our Temple has had to curtail most of our fundraising efforts due to the pandemic.
