2023-2024 Photos of Activities using Keiro Grant

This year we had Keiro present on Senior Scams before the BWA sponsored Unagi lunch in June. We had lots of Origami creations led by our teacher Lisa.
We provided Senior Goodie Bags to our homebound sangha members.

This year the PickleBall group expanded and purchased another set so we have 3-courts set up instead of 2. The origami group were able to meet once a month with Lisa. She has been adding to our projects. The walking continued to walk but the Tai Chi group has grown. We started the year with a mochi making session.

Thanks to the grants we have been receiving from Keiro, we have activities that seniors are able to participate in at the Pasadena Buddhist Temple. Here are some photos from the past few years. In 2023 we added a few more activities, but have continued the PNS lunches, Walking, PickleBall and Super Senior deliveries.

Through Keiro, PBT hosted a First Aide class for CPR and general first aide.

Nishi has their Ori-Gambatte group that joins our Origami with Lisa monthly class.

Went to Tanaka Farms with the Dharma School...Seniors had a great time and great lunch!

Super Seniors were invited to join the Dharma School for a special lunch.

PickleBall is a very popular activity hosted by PBT and Keiro. We meet Sundays and Mondays from 11:00-1:00.
