Good Sunday Morning. It's a little gloomy outside but it is a nice change from the heat.
Just got back from a morning walk and decided that this week's theme would be " How to make your heart pure."
The Buddha said, "It is very important to keep your heart clean and pure. If your heart is pure, you will find much happiness."
We wash our hands and body with soap and water. But how about our heart? If you don't misbehave, your heart will stay clean.
We need to remember to not lie or steal, not to hurt people or animals, not to use bad words, not be greedy, and not to speak badly of others.

The Buddha said that happiness follows a pure heart, whereas nothing but suffering follows a corrupt heart. We need to remember that if our hearts grow
polluted by misbehaving and hurting other's feelings, we will not find happiness.
This is a valuable lesson for us all, regardless of age.
