I am hoping that all the Dharma School kids will thank their moms on this special day. Whether it is a hug, kiss, or a simple “thank you”, a special gesture would mean a great deal to your mom.
As for the care packages, Aya has gone to Marukai (Japanese grocery store) to purchase items. If you want to donate items, we were also thinking that fresh fruit would be nice. Probably hearty fruit that lasts a long time like apples, oranges, cuties, etc. I believe any non-perishable items would be appreciated. Items could be dropped off at the temple before Sunday, May 17th.
If you are planning on donating items, please contact Kyoko Gibbs for drop off information.
Thank you and have a wonderful Sunday.
